How to use it

1. Open your character panel (C) and enter your fire, cold, lightning and chaos resistances above.
2. Choose Item you wear now, copy that item in game with Ctrl+C and press Ctrl+V here.
3. Paste the item you’d swap in the same way to see your resistances after the swap.

If you only paste the new item, it’s treated as filling an empty slot.

Why 75%

Elemental resistances are capped at 75% by default. Anything above the cap shows on the character panel but doesn’t reduce damage further; every point below it means more damage taken. The tool flags resistances that drop below the cap (“short”) and shows how much is wasted above it (“over”) — room you could spend on other modifiers.

FAQ

Why enter the character panel numbers?

They already include the campaign resistance penalty, your passives and all other gear. Taking one item out and putting another in from there is the most accurate.

My cap isn’t 75%.

If passives or gear raise your maximum resistance, change the Cap field. Chaos uses the same cap.
